News & NoticesA Word from Rev. David van Heerden - National Director CEF South Africa
Through celebrating the past we also need to look at our current situation. I am very excited about our new ministries. God has given us leaders who can take these new ministries and put them into practice so that we will be able to reach even more children. We realize that the amount of children that we can reach is in our hands. Our vision is to reach every child for Christ. Salvation is in the hands of the Lord but we need to go out and sow the good seed of the Gospel. Many times our workers are faced with many difficulties. In Ps. 126:5-6 we read: “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He, who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Do we still weep over the children of our country? May the Lord graciously show us His heart for the children. That will bring us on our knees praying and weeping for the children of our country. If we earnestly pray we will also stand up from our knees and go and sow the seed. God is faithful and we will rejoice over the sheaves. I want to thank all our supporters over so many years that faithfully prayed for the work and helped us financially to reach the children. To go forward as a faith mission is only possible through supporters who carry the same burdens as we do for our children. We will definitely need your prayers and support for the next 60 years. We need much more workers and supporters to accomplish our goals. Prayerfully consider to become part of our team. Only God knows if there will be another 60 years. Date Added: 2008-06-26 |
