Sixty years in South Africa and seventy years in the world. Still all the children in the world and South Africa don’t know Jesus, they don’t even know about Jesus. Yet, Jesus still loves the children and demanded: “Let the children come to ME…”

Matthew 18:14 “It is not the will of your Father in heaven that any of these little ones should be lost.”

It is always great to know that CEF is reaching 8 million children on a regular basis per year. It is even nicer to know that every minute of every hour of every day; seven days a week we are reaching about 15 children with the gospel. Approximately 25% of these children will accept the Lord as Savior and King. WOW!!!! BUT, there are about 3 billion children in the world. Now that makes our statistics look so small in comparison with the need.

We don’t need to be discouraged. God gave the command to us to preach the Good News to every creature in Mark 16:15 and I am sure this includes children. God trusts us to do just that. You as reader are part of this plan of God to reach every Child.

The goal of CEF in SA and in the world is: “To reach the child nobody else is reaching”

Our purpose with this goal is:

• Evangelize the children. Tell them the Good News. Lead them to Christ. Hand out tracts. Be where God wants us to be.
• Edify the children. Help them understand the Word of God, love the Word of God and live by the Word of God. We must help the children to grow to become mature Christians.
• Establish them in a Bible believing church. CEF can never be a church, although all our workers belong to a church, we work mostly with children that do not belong to a church. We train Sunday school teachers and pastors to reach children more effectively. We want to serve the church as far as possible and assist the church to make it a haven for children. Our purpose is to help children become active members of the body of Christ.

We are busy reaching this goal and with your help, prayers and assistance the next 60 years will show the difference in the world that God can make with children that know and love Him.
