The Wonder Book™ Project

The Wonder Book project has the potential of reaching millions of children in South Africa by bringing the Gospel to every child in their own language.

Children have questions like: Who is God? How did the world begin? Why is there so much trouble in the world? How can I go to heaven someday?  God has answers. The Wonder Book™ answers these and other big questions.  Illustrated Bible stories, verses and activities give straight answers and point children to God who loves them.

The first book in the series is called The Wonder book. This book is designed to help children take a look at some of the most important questions in life and find answers that have true meaning - answers that can change their life for the better.

For the children that do respond we want to help them to grow spiritually by providing them with The Wonder Devotional book™.  They will discover that to know God is a great adventure and that God wants them to spend time with Him each day!  This devotional book will help children in their quiet time for two months.  After a child has finished the first book, he can apply for the next one. There are six in total providing a child with a whole year of quiet time devotionals.

As we all know by now, the soccer World Cup will be hosted in South Africa in 2010. We trust that the Lord will make it possible through CEF International to distribute at least a million books throughout the region. We trust that the Wonder book will be translated in all the main languages by then.

The Wonder book is currently available in English. The Afrikaans translation will be available very soon. We trust that the Lord will make it possible for us to do the Xhosa and Zulu translations in 2008.

This is a ministry where everybody can become involved. Individuals, families, cell groups, congregations and businesses can all adopt a school or even a grade.
